Canucks vs. Sharks Gm 3 Prop Odds
(TheSpread) – The Vancouver Canucks and San Jose Sharks take part in Game 3 of the 2011 NHL Western Conference Finals on Friday with the Sharks desperately needing a victory.
The Canucks took a 2-0 lead in the series with a 7-3 victory in Game 2. Vancouver posted four goals in the third period and went 3-for-6 on power plays to dominate the contest. Vancouver also led in hits 43-35.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bodog.com Vancouver is the overwhelming favorite to win the series with a money line of -525 while the Sharks are a slight favorite to win Game 3 with odds of -117.
Henrik Sedin had three assists in the win for the Canucks. For Game 3, he has odds of -140 to score a point and odds of +110 to not score a point. Sedin has scored a point in his last three games, including both meetings with San Jose. Sedin has scored a point in seven of 15 playoff games this year.
For the Sharks, Logan Couture scored one of the three goals for the team. For Game 3, Couture has been given over/under odds of 4 for total points + shots on goal. Couture had three shots and one point in Game 2 and had five shots with no points in Game 1. In four regular season meetings, Couture has totaled 15 points and shots in the four contests, which is an average of just under four per game.
