NFL Week 7 Line Movement Report
There has been significant line movement in several of the Week 7 matchups in the NFL, including a big tilt in Foxboro.
New York Jets at New England Patriots, 1:00PM ET
The Patriots opened as 10-point home favorites but the line has dropped nearly down to a touchdown. According to oddsmakers from online sports book Mybookie.ag, the Jets are now 7.5-point underdogs. The total has also moved, dropping from 49 down to 47.5 points.
Atlanta Falcons at Tennessee Titans, 1:00PM ET
The Falcons opened as 3.5-point road favorites but once it was announced that Marcus Mariota wouldn’t play, the line jumped to 6. Zach Mettenerger will start in place of Mariota, who suffered a knee injury in the Titans’ loss to the Dolphins last Sunday. The total also dropped from 47.5 down to 46.5 points.
Minnesota Vikings at Detroit Lions, 1:00PM ET
The Lions opened as a 2.5-point home underdog but the line for this game has dropped to a pick’em. The Vikings are 6-2-1 against the spread in their last nine games versus the Lions overall, while the under is a perfect 4-0 in the last four meetings between these two teams. The total for this game has stayed steady at 44.5 points.
Cleveland Browns at St. Louis Rams, 1:00PM ET
The Rams are fresh coming off their bye and are nearly a touchdown-sized favorite versus the Browns in St. Louis. Cleveland opened as a 4.5-point road underdog but the line has jumped to 6.5, while the total opened at 42.5 and has dropped to 42.
Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants, 4:25PM ET
This NFC East Division clash opened with a line of Giants -5 but the number has dropped down to the key number of 3. Matt Cassel will be starting at quarterback for the Cowboys as he replaces the ineffective Brandon Weeden. The underdog is 9-4 against the spread in the last 13 meetings between these two teams.
