Lions vs. Chiefs Odds
The Kansas City Chiefs have a home game in London on Sunday when they take on the Detroit Lions at 9:30AM ET on FOX.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Kansas City is favored at home in this game, as the Chiefs are getting odds of -4.5 points against the Lions. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 45 points. The Lions have won two straight meetings with KC, but the Chiefs are 5-1 against the spread in the last six meetings. These two have hit the over in six straight encounters.
The Chiefs are 2-5 on the season, 2-5 against the spread and 4-3 with the over. Kansas City is coming off a 23-13 win over the Steelers last week to snap a five-game losing streak. KC is averaging 21.4 points and 346.1 yards per game on offense while the defense is giving up 24.6 points and 368 yards per game. Alex Smith has thrown for 1,824 yards and seven touchdowns this season while Jeremy Maclin has 39 catches for 531 yards and a score. Maclin is questionable to play this week due to a concussion. The KC defense is led by Marcus Peters, who has 35 tackles and three interceptions.
Detroit is 1-6 overall, 1-6 against the spread and 4-3 with the over. The Lions are coming off a 28-19 loss to the Vikings at home after establishing a 17-6 lead in the first half. The Lions are averaging just 19.9 points and 346.6 yards per game. The offensive line is a big issue as Detroit has the NFL’s worst rushing attack (68 ypg) and they have allowed 16 sacks. Defensively, Detroit has allowed 28.6 points and 392.3 yards per game. Matthew Stafford has thrown for 1,866 yards and 12 touchdowns to lead the offense while Calvin Johnson has caught 43 passes for 574 yards and three scores. The defense is led by Ezekiel Ansah, who has 21 tackles with three sacks.
