NFL Week 3 Odds
It’s been a wild start to the 2009 NFL season and the year has only just begun. Oddsmakers have released the odds for Week 3’s games.
There are several intriguing matchups on the Week 3 schedule, but none juicer than the Matt Ryan Atlanta Falcons traveling to Foxboro to take on Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. Oddsmakers from online sports book BetOnline has established the Patriots as a 4–point spread favorites at home, despite their loss to the New York Jets in Week 2.
Speaking of the Jets, rookie Mark Sanchez will get another big test when the Tennessee Titans roll into Giants Stadium on Sunday. The Jets have opened as 2.5-point spread favorites over a Titans team that is still searching for their first win.
In a battle of undefeated teams, Brett Favre, Adrian Peterson and the Minnesota Vikings will host the surprising San Francisco 49ers at 1:00PM ET on Sunday. Oddsmakers have made the Vikings a 7-point favorite at home in that matchup.
The Monday night matchup is a good one despite the Carolina Panthers being 0-2 to start the year. The Panthers will travel to Jerry Jones’ new stadium in Texas to take on Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys.
