Eagles at Colts Odds
The banged up Indianapolis Colts host the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday night at 8:00PM ET on FOX.
Indianapolis heads into Thursday night’s game as a wounded team. Defenders Bob Sanders, Michael Coe, Antoine Bethea, Kelvin Hayden and Robert Mathis are all expected to miss the game against Philadelphia with various injuries.
The Colts didn’t particularly look sharp in their preseason opener last Friday, dropping a 13-3 contest to the Vikings at home. Peyton Manning didn’t attempt one pass and running back Joseph Addai carried only twice for 13 yards.
The Eagles also dropped their preseason opener, albeit they looked better than the Colts did. In their 27-25 loss to the Patriots at Lincoln Financial Field, the Eagles amassed 420 yards of total offense and totaled over 300 passing yards. Following the game, they also signed troubled free agent quarterback Michael Vick, although he will not play this week against the Colts.
Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have made the Colts 3-point home underdogs in their matchup with the Eagles, while the over/under total has been established at 36.
The trends favor Indianapolis in this contest, as the Colts are 11-2 against the spread coming off a double-digit loss. The Eagles are 10-22 ATS when the line is +3 to –3.
NFL Preseason Week 2 Odds: Eagles at Colts Odds & Over/Under Totals
