The Cowboys are coming off a 20-13 loss to the 49ers as 6.5-point home favorites. The 33 points went under the posted total of 38.

The Vikings defeated the Texans 17-10 on Monday night as running back Adrian Peterson churned out 117 yards on 11 carries and a touchdown. The Vikings easily covered the 2.5-point spread as road underdogs, while the 27 points fell under the posted total of 41.

Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have made the Vikings 3-point home favorites over the Cowboys on Friday might, while the over/under total has been set at 36.

Don’t expect Peterson, Brett Favre, Tony Romo or the rest of the Cowboys or Vikings’ starters to play longer than a series or two, if at all. That said, the fourth and final preseason game is usually the hardest to handicap given its unpredictably.
