USC-Hawaii Odds
The offseason has been long and painful for USC, but the Trojans hope to take that out on Hawaii Thursday night at 11PM ET.
USC is riding a 12-game winning streak is season openers and the Trojans are 6-0 all-time against the Warriors.
Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL have made USC a 21.5-point favorite over Hawaii while the over/under has been set at 54.
USC brings back 11 starters this season, including true sophomore Matt Barkley, who threw for 2,735 yards and 15 touchdowns with 14 interceptions in 2009. New coach Lane Kiffin inherits an offense that averaged 26.5 points and 389 yards per-game and a defense that held opponents to 19.8 points and 340 yards per-game. USC was among the best in the country in defensive pressure, as the Trojans had 35 sacks as a team last season.
Hawaii has struggled against USC, allowing 60 points to the Trojans in each of the last three meetings. Hawaii has won seven of its last 11 home openers, and the Warriors returns 14 starters, led by receiver Greg Salas, who caught 106 passes for 1,590 yards in 2009. As an offense, the Warriors averaged 22.8 points and 437 yards per-game while allowing 29.5 points and 405 yards per-game on defense.
