SMU Mustangs Game Notes

Jake Bailey is listed as a co-starter along with Roderick Daniels on SMU’s depth chart for Saturday’s game versus Oklahoma. Bailey was listed as a stand-alone starter in Week 1 but will share starting duties against Oklahoma. Bailey tallied just three catches for nine yards last week but should continue to be one of SMU’s top targets.

Oklahoma Sooners Game Notes

Drake Stoops (shoulder) is listed on the depth chart for Oklahoma’s game Saturday against SMU. Currently, Stoops’ availability is questionable before Oklahoma’s upcoming game. He logged four receptions for 56 yards and one touchdown against Arkansas State during Week 1.

SMU vs. Oklahoma Betting Prediction

Give me the over. Dillon Gabriel and Jackson Arnold combined for 30-of-33 passing for 422 yards in last week’s 73-0 rout of Arkansas State in Norman and SMU should be able to get the offense moving today, too. The Mustangs hung 31 points on Louisiana Tech last week before taking their foot off the gas in an eventual 38-14 victory. Preston Stone threw three touchdown passes while LJ Johnson broke off a 67-yard run. Points should not be an issue today in Norman, OK.
