Ohio at Ohio State Odds
It isn’t much of an in-state rivalry, but it takes place Saturday at Noon ET when No. 2 Ohio State hosts Ohio.
Game Preview:
Ohio State is 6-0 all-time against the Bobcats, but the last meeting was just a 26-14 win after the Buckeyes trailed 14-12 at one point with then true freshman quarterback Terrelle Pryor. Ohio State is 41-0-1 against in-state opponents since the glory days of 1922.
The Buckeyes are 2-0 on the season including an impressive 36-24 win last week over Miami. The Buckeyes forced Miami into two turnovers and 14 of the Hurricanes’ 26 points came from special teams touchdowns. Pryor has thrown for 480 yards and four touchdowns while rushing for 130 yards and one touchdown in the first game.
Ohio is 1-1 on the season, beating Wofford 33-10 in the opener before losing 20-13 to Toledo at home. The Bobcats quarterback, Boo Jackson, has thrown one touchdown to four interceptions this season and Ohio’s leading rusher, Vince Davidson, has just 92 yards on the ground.
