Auburn Can Win Big Saturday
No. 22 Auburn is hoping to make a statement against Arkansas State Saturday night as the Tigers are 31-point favorites.
Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com currently list Auburn as 31-point favorites at home against Arkansas State. The over/under for the game has been set at 58.
Auburn was 6-6 against the spread last season and hit the over 7 times in 10 games. The Tigers have been just 8-15 ATS the last two seasons and 4-9 ATS as a favorite. Auburn has also been just 22-30 ATS in non-conference games since 1992.
Arkansas State was 2-9 against the spread last season and hit the under 8 times in 11 games. The Red Wolves are 5-17 ATS in the last two seasons and 2-12 ATS in road games. The Wolves are also 0-2 ATS as an underdog of 21.5-to-31 points the last two seasons.
Auburn is ready to pounce on Saturday as the Tigers rushing attack shouldn’t have much difficulty racking up yards and points. The Tigers have new pieces in on offense, and their cover numbers aren’t great, but they are still better than Arkansas State’s. We like the Tigers to cover while hitting the under on Saturday night.
