The Bears had 542 yards of total offense in the win, with quarterback Kevin Riley throwing for four touchdowns on 17-of-26 passing for 298 yards. The

Eastern Washington comes into its first meeting ever with
California after a 35-14 win over
Western Oregon. Matt Nichols threw for 286 yards and three touchdowns in the win while running back Taiwan Jones had 122 yards rushing with an 87-yard touchdown run. The Eagles last meeting with a top 25 team was a 49-24 loss to Texas Tech last season. Despite the lopsided loss, Nichols did throw for 335 yards and a touchdown in the effort.
