Thunder vs. Mavericks Gm 2 Props
DALLAS, TX (TheSpread) – The Dallas Mavericks and Oklahoma City Thunder resume the 2011 Western Conference Finals on Thursday night. Here is a look at the prop odds for the contest.
Dallas took a 1-0 lead in the series with a 121-112 victory over Oklahoma City. The start of the game was Dirk Nowitzki, who had 48 points on 12-of-15 shooting from the field and 24-for-24 shooting from the free throw line. As a team, Dallas shot 53.4 percent from the field.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com the Mavericks are the heavy favorites to win the series now with a money line of -400, while the Thunder come in at +300. For Game 2, Dallas is a 5.5-point favorite at home while the over/under total has been set at a lofty 200 points.
In terms of prop odds, Nowitzki has been given a money line of +140 to miss at least one free throw in the game while the money line for him to go perfect at the line is -180. Nowitzki has not missed a free throw in his last three playoff games, but he only attempted six total in the two games prior to his 24-free throw performance. He is currently shooting 92.2 percent at the line in the playoffs.
For Kevin Durant, he has been given over/under odds of 31.5 points for Game 2. Durant had 40 points in Game 1 on 10-of-18 shooting. He also was 18-for-19 from the free throw line. In the playoffs, he is averaging 29.7 points per game. In four games with Dallas, including Game 1, Durant is averaging 32 points per contest.
