According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Nationals are -125 monyline favorites to beat the Giants, who have odds of +115 to pull off the upset at home. The pitching matchup will feature Gio Gonzalez opposing Matt Cain, while the over/under sits at 8.5 runs.

SAN FRANCISCO: The Giants have lost 37 of Cain’s last 54 starts and five of his last seven outings against National League East opponents. They’re also 1-6 in his last seven starts coming off four days of rest but have won five of his last six home starts against a team with a winning record.

With Hunter Pence and Joe Panik back in the lineup, plus the edition of Eduardo Nunez via trade, the Giants are a better bet now then they have been over the past two weeks.
