Milwaukee Brewers DFS SPIN
Andruw Monasterio was pulled from Sunday’s contest against the Reds after catching a blow to the face from Will Benson on a pickoff attempt at second base. He remained in the game to run the bases for himself, but was ultimately lifted for a pinch-hitter in the fourth inning. Presumably, he’ll head for further evaluation to rule out any possible concussions. For now, he should be considered day-to-day.
Cincinnati Reds DFS SPIN
Tyler Stephenson grounded out all three times up against the Brewers on Sunday. If you believe Statcast, Stephenson isn’t hitting much differently this year than he did the previous two. He’s just gone from being fairly lucky in 2021 to very lucky in 2022 to pretty unlucky this season. Of course, Reds fans still shouldn’t be very happy about the overall takeaway there that he’s essentially been a league-average hitter over the course of his career. Stephenson was, arguably, the best thing the Reds had gone for them on the position side of things a year ago. At this point, there are probably five guys, including a couple in the minors, who would be viewed as more important building blocks.
