WGC-Bridgestone Invitational Odds

A week before the final major of 2018, many of the top golfers in the world gather together for the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational. Hereโ€™s a look at the odds to win this event.

According to the latest oddsmakers, Dustin Johnson is favored to win this weekโ€™s tournament, as he has 7/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose and Tiger Woods, who each have 12/1 odds to win. The WGC-Bridgestone Invitational takes place Thursday-Sunday from Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio.

Johnson won this event in 2016. He is coming off his third victory in 2018 in last weekendโ€™s RBC Canadian Open. Johnson remains No. 1 in the world rankings thanks to nine top-10 finishes in 14 events this year.

McIlroy won this tournament back in 2014. He comes into this weekend seventh in the world rankings. McIlroy has one win and seven top-10 finishes this year out of 17 tournaments. He has missed four cuts, though. McIlroy is coming off a runner-up finish at The British Open a few weeks ago.

Rose has not won this tournament but has finished runner-up in the past. He is coming off a second-place finish at The British Open a few weeks ago and is up to second in the world rankings. Rose has one win and eight top-10 finishes out of 13 events this year. He has placed in the top 10 in five straight events.

Woods is an 8-time winner of this tournament, last claiming the title in 2013. He has moved up to 50th in the world rankings thanks to his sixth-place finish at The British Open, his best finish since 2013. Woods has four top-10 finishes this year out of 12 events as he seeks his first win since 2013 as well.
