The main event of Wednesday’s card is a light heavyweight battle between top contenders Vitor Belfort (23-10) and Dan Henderson (29-10). These two met back in 2006 as part of Pride, with Henderson winning a decision, but both are different fighters now. Belfort has won four of his last five, all by finish. He has had two head-kick victories in his last two bouts. Henderson has lost his last two bouts by split decision. His age could be a factor, as he is 43. The co-main event of Saturday’s card is a middleweight bout featuring Cezar Ferreira (6-2) and Daniel Sarafian (8-3). According to oddsmakers, Ferreira is favored to win the fight, as he has odds of -150 to win, while Sarafian has a money line of +120 to win. Ferreira is 2-0 in the UFC and looking to pick up another impressive win to move up the middleweight rankings. Sarafian is 1-1 in the UFC but coming off a win. He is a submission specialist who has 7 of his 8 wins by submission. Both men are from Brazil and should fight with a lot of passion. The key to this fight will be if Ferreira can stay out of Sarafian’s submissions.
