UFC on FOX 11 will take place from the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida with the main card bouts airing live on FOX at 8PM ET on Saturday.
The main event of Saturday’s card is a No. 1 contender’s bout between heavyweights Fabricio Werdum (17-5-1) and Travis Browne (16-1-1). According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Browne is the favorite to win this bout, as he has odds of -210 to prevail, while Werdum has been given odds of +170 to win. Werdum is 3-0 since his return to the UFC and he has looked impressive in all three bouts. Browne has won three straight, all by first round KO. Browne has been really utilizing elbows while fighting off takedowns, which will be a key in this fight. Werdum would like to get the fight to the ground, while Browne wants to keep it standing where he can use his muay thai strikes.
The co-main event of Saturday’s event is a battle in the women’s bantamweight division as former top contenders Miesha Tate (13-5) and Liz Carmouche (9-4) collide. According to oddsmakers, Tate is the favorite to win, as she has odds of -210 to win, while Carmouche has odds of +170 to prevail. Tate is coming off a pair of losses, with the last coming against champion Ronda Rousey. Carmouche has lost two of her last three, with a loss coming against Rousey as well. Tate will be looking to use her wrestling to win this fight, while Carmouche will look to utilize her striking to win.
