According to head coach Andy Reid, Michael Vick will make his Philadelphia Eagles debut next Thursday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Reid said Saturday that “right now that’s the plan.”
Vick signed with the Eagles on Aug. 13 but was not allowed to play in the team’s first two preseason games under the provisions of his suspension from the league.
Vick will backup Donovan McNabb, but could see some time in the “Wildcat” formation this season due to his athleticism and running ability. Unless McNabb gets hurt, Vick will likely see limited time at quarterback.
Oddsmakers from online sports book SPORTSBETTING.com have established the Eagles’ Super Bowl XLIV odds at 10/1 and their NFC Championship odds at 5/1.
