2013 Super Bowl Odds Week 9

(The Spread) – The updated odds to win the 2013 Super Bowl are out and the Houston Texans remain favored.

Oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv currently list the Texans as 5/1 favorites to win this year’s Super Bowl, while the New England Patriots are 11/2 and the San Francisco 49ers are 6/1. The defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants are 7/1 to win the Super Bowl and ironically the only team that’s currently undefeated, the Atlanta Falcons, have the fifth-best odds to win the Super Bowl at 8/1.

Last week the Texans were favored at 5/1, while the Patriots and 49ers were 13/2, respectively. The Giants were 7/1, the Packers were 15/2, the Falcons were 8/1 and the Bears were 10/1. The Ravens and Broncos were both 14/1, respectively.

Continuing with the odds, the Green Bay Packers are 8/1 to win this season’s NFL title, while the Chicago Bears and Denver Broncos are 9/1, respectively. The Pittsburgh Steelers are 16/1, the Baltimore Ravens are 18/1, and the Dallas Cowboys and San Diego Chargers are 60/1, respectively. The upstart Miami Dolphins and surprising Seattle Seahawks are 66/1 to win the 2013 Super Bowl, respectively, while the Detroit Lions, New Orleans Saints and disappointing Philadelphia Eagles are 75/1, respectively.

Some of the long shots include the Minnesota Vikings (90/1), who are 5-2 through seven games. The Indianapolis Colts and Oakland Raiders are 100/1, respectively, while the Cincinnati Bengals, New York Jets, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Washington Redskins are all 150/1, respectively.
