The action this year starts in Tampa Bay, as the Rays will host the Rangers in Game 1 of the ALDS on Wednesday at 1:37PM ET. Game 2 will be the following day (Thursday, October 7) at 2:37PM ET and Game 3 will be held in Texas on Saturday, October 9 at 5:07PM ET. Game 4 will be on Sunday, October 10 (time TBD), while Game 5 (if necessary) will be on Tuesday, October 12.
The other ALDS matchup will pit the Yankees against the Twins. That series kicks off Wednesday, October 6 at 8:37PM ET, while Game 2 is slated for Thursday, October 7 at 5:07PM ET. Game 3 will shift the series to New York and will start Saturday, October 9 (time TBD), while Game 4 will be on Sunday, October 10 (TBD).
In the National League, the Phillies will host the Reds in Game 1 on Wednesday, October 6 at 5:07PM and in Game 2 on Friday, October 9 at 6:07PM ET. Game 3 will be in Cincinnati on Sunday, October 10 (TBD) and Game 4 will be on Monday, October 11 (TBD). Game 5, if necessary, will be back in Philadelphia on Wednesday, October 13 (TBD).
The final series kicks off in San Francisco between the Giants and Braves on Thursday, October 7 at 9:37PM ET. Game 2 is also in San Fran, as the Giants host the Braves on Friday October 8 at 9:37PM ET. Games 3 & 4 from Atlanta are both TBD, but will take place on Sunday, October 10 and Monday, October 11. Game 5, if necessary, will be back in San Francisco on Wednesday, October 13 (TBD).
All of the games in all four division series will be aired on TBS. Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com have made the Phillies 11/5 favorites to win the 2010 World Series, while the Yankees are 10/3. The Rays are 9/2 to win, the Twins and Giants are 8/1 and the Reds and Rangers are 11/1. The Braves have the worst odds at 12/1.
