Tuesday’s NHL Prediction

Two Eastern Conference rivals meet on Tuesday night in the NHL as the Philadelphia Flyers take on the Buffalo Sabres.

Bet NHL Odds

Both teams are off to slow starts this season as Philadelphia is 3-4-1 through eight games for a total of seven points, putting them four points out of first in the Atlantic Division.

The Sabres are 3-5-1 on the season for seven points. They are also four points out of first place in the Northeast Division.

Here are some trends to consider and my pick for tonight’s contest:

Buffalo Sabres at Philadelphia Flyers, 7:30PM ET

Trends favor the Flyers in this game as they are 9-1 in their last 10 against the Northeast Division while they are also 13-5 in their last 18 home games.

Buffalo is just 1-7 in their last eight games following a win and 1-10 in their last 11 after allowing two goals or less in their previous game.

The Flyers are at home and in need of a win and I like them to get it against a Buffalo team that has given up 24 goals on the season.
