Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have made the Colts a 5.5-point favorite over the Texans in Week 8, while the over/under total is currently 49.5. The over is 10-1 in the last 11 meetings between these two teams and 6-1 in the last seven meetings in Indianapolis.
The favorite is 4-0 against the spread in the last four meetings between the Chiefs and Bills, although Buffalo is 5-1 ATS in their last six meetings with KC and 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings on the road. The Chiefs are currently a 7.5-point favorite.
The Panthers are 5-0 against the spread in their last five meetings with the Rams and 6-2 ATS in their last eight meetings with the Rams in St. Louis. That said, the home team is 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings between these two teams, which bodes well for 3-pointed favored Rams.
Oddsmakers have made the Lions a 2.5-point home favorite over the Redskins this week, while the over/under total is currently 44. The under is 3-0-2 in the last five meetings between these two teams in Detroit and 6-0-2 in the last eight meetings overall.
The Jets are 6-point favorites over the banged up Packers, while the over/under total is currently 42.5. The Packers are 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall, while the Jets are 5-0 in their last five contests.
The Cardinals are 3-point home favorites over the surprising 4-2 Buccaneers. Tampa is 1-5 ATS in its last six games in October, while the Cardinals are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games in October.
The Seahawks are 2.5-point road dogs at the Raiders this week, which isn’t surprising considering they’re 0-5 ATS in their last five meetings to Oakland. The home team is also 7-0 ATS in the last seven meetings between these two teams.
The underdog is 3-0-1 against the spread in the last four meetings between the Jaguars and Cowboys. Despite all of its troubles this season, Dallas is favored by 6.5 points over Jacksonville this Sunday.
After narrowly losing to the Steelers last Sunday, the Dolphins are 1-point underdogs against the Bengals this weekend in Cincinnati. The Bengals are 1-4 ATS in their last five games as a home favorite of 0.5-3.0 points, while the Dolphins are 5-0 ATS in their last five road games.
When the 49ers and Broncos square off this Sunday in London, San Francisco will be a 1-point favorite. The Broncos are 1-4 ATS in their last five games as an underdog, while the 49ers are 0-5 ATS in their last five games as a favorite. Something has to give.
The Chargers are 3.5-point favorites over the Titans this week despite their opposite records in the standings. San Diego is 2-5 this season but Tennessee is 0-6 ATS in the last six meetings between these two teams.
Will Brett Favre’s consecutive starts streak end this weekend? The Vikings are 5.5-point underdogs this Sunday in New England and Favre’s damaged ankle may cause him to miss the first start of his career. The under is 4-0 in the last four meetings between these two teams.
The Sunday Night Football game should be a great one this week as the Saints host the Steelers. New Orleans is a 1-point favorite despite Pittsburgh’s 5-1 record and the Saints’ loss to the lowly Browns last week at home. The Saints are just 1-5 ATS in their last five home games and 1-5 ATS in their last six games overall.
