Cowboys vs. Vikings Free Pick
Two underachieving teams will lock horns on Sunday when the Vikings host the Cowboys at 4:15PM ET. Read on to check out our free pick for this matchup.
Before we get to our pick, let’s take a look at the latest point spread odds for this Week 6 game.
Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com have made the Vikings 1-point favorites over the Cowboys this Sunday. The over/under total for this game is currently 44.5 points.
Dallas is 1-3 against the spread this season and 1-3 straight up. The ‘Boys have split each of their two road games, although they didn’t have to travel very far when they beat Houston three weeks ago.
Minnesota has the same lousy record at 1-3 and is also 1-3 against the spread. The Vikings are 1-1 at home this year and while they’re only surrendering 12 points per game, they’re only averaging 17.0 PPG offensively.
The Pick:
The Vikings are the pick here. It looked like their offense started to turn a page in the second half on Monday night against the Jets and with Randy Moss now in the fold, they should be explosive again soon (assuming Brett Favre doesn’t give the game away with all of his turnovers). The favorite is 8-0 against the spread in the last eight meetings between these two teams, while the home team is 5-1 ATS in the last six matchups. The Cowboys are just 1-6 ATS in their last seven games against the Vikings and 0-5 ASTS in the last five meetings in Minnesota.
