NFL Week 4 Injury Report
Some big names have been hobbled by injuries all week in the NFL. Find out which ones in our 2010 NFL Week 4 Injury Report.
Below you’ll find the notable injuries for every game this week in the NFL.
New York Jets vs. Buffalo Bills, 1:00PM ET
Jets’ cornerback Darrelle Revis continues to battle a hamstring injury and did not participate in practice this week. He has officially been ruled out this Sunday, although linebacker Calvin Pace (foot) may return after missing the team’s first three games. Center Nick Mangold (shoulder) is also listed as questionable, while tackle Damien Woody (not injury related) and linebacker Jason Taylor (elbow) are probable. For the Bills, cornerback Terrence McGee (knee) and DE Marcus Stroud (ankle) are both out, while linebacker Paul Posluszny (knee) is probable.
Baltimore Ravens vs. Pittsburgh Steelers, 1:00PM ET
Tackle Jared Gaither (back) is out for the Ravens, as is receiver Donte Stallworth (foot). Ray Rice was able to practice on Friday, but he’s questionable with a knee injury, while Matt Birk (back) and Todd Heap (shoulder) are both probable. The Steelers are relatively healthy, although guard Trai Essex (ankle) could miss another game and quarterback Dennis Dixon may be placed on IR soon with a knee injury.
Seattle Seahawks vs. St. Louis Rams, 1:00PM ET
Tackle Russell Okung (ankle) was able to practice this week, as was linebacker Aaron Curry (hamstring) for the Seahawks. Chris Clemons (ankle), Marcus Trufant (ankle) and Sean Locklear (knee) weren’t able to practice and their status for Sunday is unknown. For the Rams, receiver Laurent Robinson (foot) is doubtful, while running back Steven Jackson (groin) and O.J. Atogwe (thigh) are both questionable.
San Francisco 49ers vs. Atlanta Falcons, 1:00PM ET
Ted Ginn hasn’t been able to practice with the 49ers because of a knee injury, while linebacker Takeo Spikes (knee) has been limited but is expected to play. Rookie linebacker Sean Weatherspoon is dealing with an ankle injury and is listed as questionable for the Falcons, as is Erik Coleman (knee) and Michael Jenkins (Shoulder).
Cincinnati Bengals vs. Cleveland Browns, 1:00PM ET
Defensive end Antwan Odom (wrist) is questionable for the Bengals, as are linebacker Keith Rivers (foot) and receiver Jordan Shipley (shoulder). Cedric Benson (knee) and Pacman Jones (shoulder) are probable. For the Browns, Josh Cribbs (ankle), Joe Thomas (elbow), Brian Robiskie (hamstring) Jake Delhomme (ankle) and Jerome Harrison’s (thigh) status are all unknown at this point.
Denver Broncos vs. Tennessee Titans, 1:00PM ET
The biggest news for the Browns is that Knowshon Moreno is once again out with a hamstring injury, while Brian Dawkins (ankle) and Ryan Harris (ankle) should play. For the Titans, defensive tackle Tony Brown has a knee injury and hasn’t been able to practice. That said, he should be able to play this weekend.
Carolina Panthers vs. New Orleans Saints, 1:00PM ET
Tackle Jeff Otah (knee) is out, as is linebacker Jamar Williams (neck) for the Panthers. Reggie Bush once again won’t suit up for the Saints, while Roman Harper (hamstring) and Pierre Thomas (ankle) will both be game-time decisions after missing practice throughout the week. Drew Brees will also wear a brace on his bruised knee, but will play.
Detroit Lions vs. Green Bay Packers, 1:00PM ET
Rookie running back Jahvid Best is battling a toe injury and may miss this weekend’s game in Green Bay. Matthew Stafford (shoulder) is once again out and Nate Burleson continues to suffer from ankle problems. Linebacker Brandon Chillar is out for the Packers, while Nick Collins (knee), Chad Clifton (knee) and Cullen Jenkins (hand) are all probable.
Houston Texans vs. Oakland Raiders, 4:05PM ET
Receiver Andre Johnson is questionable with a high ankle injury, as is tight end Owen Daniels (hamstring) for the Texans. Mario Williams (groin) will play, however. Robert Gallery (hamstring) wasn’t able to practice for the Raiders, while receiver Louis Murphy (collarbone) was limited. Michael Bush (thumb) will play, as will Richard Seymour (hamstring).
Indianapolis Colts vs. Jacksonville Jaguars, 4:05PM ET
Receiver Austin Collie (heel) is questionable for the Colts, while Anthony Gonzalez (ankle) and Bob Sanders (biceps) have both been ruled out. Running back Joseph Addai is listed as questionable as he continues to deal with a knee injury. Linebacker Justin Durant (ankle) is out for the Jaguars, but Rashean Mathis (thigh) will play.
Washington Redskins vs. Philadelphia Eagles, 4:15PM ET
For the Redskins, Albert Haynesworth (thumb) was able to practice, as was running back Clinton Portis (wrist). DeAngelo Hall (back) was limited with a back injury, as was tackle Trent Williams (toe). The Eagles are healthy, although Ernie Sims (ankle), Brent Celek (wrist) and Jeremy Maclin (back) have minor injuries.
Arizona Cardinals vs. San Diego Chargers, 4:15PM ET
Steve Breaston won’t play for the Cardinals and neither will Early Doucet. Shawne Merriman (calf) wasn’t able to practice for the Chargers, although running back Ryan Mathews (ankle) should return after missing last week.
Sunday Night Football:
Chicago Bears vs. New York Giants, 8:20PM ET
Roberto Garza (knee) didn’t practice for the Bears this week and neither did tackle Chris Williams (hamstring). Shaun O’Hara (ankle) is out for the Giants and linebacker Keith Bulluck (toe) is doubtful. Mario Manningham should play after suffering a concussion earlier in the week.
Monday Night Football:
New England Patriots vs. Miami Dolphins, 8:30PM ET
Fred Taylor (toe), Nick Kaczur (back) and Terrence Wheatley (foot) did not practice for the Patriots, while Jared Odrick (ankle) and John Jerry (illness) were limited for the Dolphins.
