Broncos vs. Titans Free Pick
Two non-divisional foes will meet in Nashville this Sunday when the Tennessee Titans take on the Denver Broncos at 1:00PM ET. Let’s take a look at the matchup and hand out a free pick for this game.
Before we get to our free pick, let’s take a look at the odds for this game.
Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com have made the Titans 6.5-point favorites over the Broncos in Week 4. The over/under total for this game has been set at 43 points.
The Titans got back on the right track last Sunday with a 29-10 win over the Giants. The week before they were crushed by the Steelers in Tennessee, so Jeff Fisher’s club was glad to get back into the win column.
The Broncos went the opposite way. After beating the Seahawks in Week 2, they suffered a home loss to the Colts last Sunday despite Kyle Orton throwing for 476 yards. Denver’s red zone offense was a problem the entire day, which was the main reason the score (27-13) was more skewed in the Colts’ favor than it otherwise should have been
The Free Pick:
The Broncos are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games after allowing less than 90 yards rushing in their previous outing, while the Titans are just 1-4 ATS in their last fie games as a favorite. They’re also 2-10 ATS in their last 12 games in Week 4 and 0-5 ATS in their last five games after accumulating more than 150 yards rushing in their previous outing. The pick is the Broncos and the points here. They’re coming off a phony loss so-to-speak, in that they should have covered last week had they converted in the red zone. In fact, they could have beaten the Colts outright had they gotten the ball into the end zone. The Titans, on the other hand, were outgained in almost every offensive category last Sunday yet won mostly because the Giants couldn’t stop turning the ball over. Thus, oddsmakers have overvauled Tennessee here.
