NFL Week 17 Point Spreads
(The Spread) – This is it: Week 17 in the NFL. It’s win or go home for some teams, while others can’t wait until until the season is over. Check out our 2010 NFL Week 17 Point Spread Odds & Over/Under Totals report to see the latest odds for this weekend’s slate of games.
According to opening NFL odds and oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com, the Seattle Seahawks are 1-point home underdogs against the St. Louis Rams on Sunday. The NFC West will be on the line and whichever team walks away with a victory will secure the division and win the No. 4 seed in the NFC playoff picture.
After two straight losses, the New York Giants find themselves in must-win mode. They’re 3.5-point favorites over the Washington Redskins on Sunday, while the over/under total has opened at 44.5. The Giants need to beat the Redskins and have the Packers lose to the Chicago Bears in order to win the sixth and final seed in the NFC.
In the AFC, the Indianapolis Colts have opened as 9.5-point favoirtes against the Tennessee Titans. If Peyton Manning can lead his team to victory, then the Colts will lock up another AFC South title. If the Titans win and the Jacksonville Jaguars beat the Houston Texans, then the Jags will win the AFC South and Manning and Co. will be at home for the postseason.
The Pittsburgh Steelers can win the AFC North with a win over the Cleveland Browns. Oddsmakers have made Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers a 6-point favorite over the Browns, who couldn’t beat the Baltimore Ravens last Sunday at home. If the Steelers lose and the Ravens beat the Bengals, then Baltimore wins the AFC North and will have one of the top 3 seeds in the AFC.
The Ravens are 9.5-point favorites over the Bengals, who beat the San Diego Chargers at home in Week 16.
