Bills vs. Vikings Free Pick

Minneapolis, MN (TheSpread) – The Minnesota Vikings are 1-0 under interim head coach Leslie Fraizer after beating the Redskins last Sunday in Washington. They’ll look to make it 2-0 when they host the Buffalo Bills at 1:00PM ET today.

According to Week 13 NFL odds and oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com, the Vikings are 5.5-point favorites over the Bills on Sunday. The over/under total for this game is currently 44.5 points.

The Bills dropped to 2-9 on the year after losing in overtime to the Steelers, but did cover and are now 6-4-1 against the spread. They’re 1-4 on the road this year but according to latest NFL trends, they’re 4-1 against the number away from Ralph Wilson Stadium.

The Vikings improved to 4-7 after beating the Redskins last Sunday but are still just 3-8 against the number overall. They’re 3-2 at home this season but they’ve failed to cover in three of their five games at the Metrodome this season.

NFL Week 13 Free Pick:

The Vikings could be without Adrian Peterson this week, who suffered an ankle injury against the Redskins last Sunday. He says he’ll play but even if he does, he could be limited. That means Toby Gerhart will start in his place. The rookie can be a bruiser in the running game but isn’t used to carrying the full load. Either way, we expect the Bills to hang with the Vikings, who are 1-5 against the number in their last six overall games and 1-5 ATS in their last six games in December. Buffalo, on the other hand, is 4-0 against the number in its last four road games and 5-0-1 ATS in its last six games overall. Our pick is the Bills +5.5.
