NFL Week 13 Injury Report
What’s the status of Adrian Peterson for the Vikings game with the Bills this Sunday? Who’s starting under center for the Steelers? Read on for our 2010 NFL Week 13 Injury Report to find out.
According to Week 13 NFL odds and oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com, the Vikings are 5.5-point favorites over the Bills on Sunday. But if Adrian Peterson (ankle) and Percy Harvin (migraines) aren’t available, that line will obviously drop. That said, interim coach Leslie Frazier said on Friday that Peterson will play.
Ben Roethlisberger suffered an ankle injury against the Bills on Sunday, or what everyone thought was an ankle injury. Reports now state that he has a foot fracture, which was from an existing injury. Either way, he’s expected to play Sunday night for Pittsburgh’s huge showdown against Baltimore.
Good news for the Chargers, as Antonio Gates (foot) and Mike Tolbert (hand) both returned to practice on Friday and are expected to play against the Raiders this Sunday. San Diego is a double-digit favorite over Oakland. According to latest NFL trends, two of three games in this series have gone over the total over the last three seasons.
Reggie Wayne was a late addition to the Colts’ Week 13 injury report and is being listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Colts. He sat out of Friday’s practice, but chances are the knee injury won’t cause him to miss the Dallas game.
Mike Williams is officially listed as questionable on the Seahawks’ injury report with a foot issue, but Seattle expects “Big Mike” to play against the Panthers in Week 13.
Mike Sims-Walker (ankle) won’t play against the Titans in Week 13. He did practice earlier this week but he must have had a setback because he was officially ruled out on Friday.
Kenny Britt (hamstring) is getting closer to returning, but he won’t play in Week 13 against the Jaguars. He’s targeting Week 14 – a home game against the Colts – for his return.
The Jets’ defense was dealt a blow when they lost safety Jim Leonhard for the season with a broken tibia. Leonhard suffered the injury in practice earlier this week and obviously, will not face the Patriots on Monday night.
