NFL Week 12 Injury Report

What’s the playing status of some of the top players in the NFL this weekend? Read our 2010 NFL Week 12 Injury Report to find out.

The Browns have officially declared Colt McCoy out for Sunday’s game against the Panthers. McCoy suffered a high ankle sprain last week against the Jaguars and it’s officially that Jake Delhomme will start in his place. Apparently Delhomme’s ankle injury is further along than Seneca Wallace’s.

Colts’ running back Mike Hart (ankle) returned to practice earlier this week and with Joseph Addai expected to be out, Hart will see plenty of action. Donald Brown is still expected to be the featured back against the Chargers on Sunday night, but Hart will get touches.

Speaking of the Chargers, Antonio Gates said he was in serious pain on Thursday at practice and he may not be able to play against the Colts on Sunday night. According to latest NFL odds and oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com, the Chargers are currently 3-point underdogs at Indianapolis.

The Seahawks are preparing as though receiver Mike Williams won’t play this week. He has yet to be ruled out with a foot injury, but it’s doubtful that he’ll suit up against the Chiefs on Sunday. Kansas City is currently a 1-point favorite over Seattle.

Donald Driver (quad) was able to practice on Thursday and should play against the Falcons in Week 12. There is no updated news on defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins (calf), but he said following Week 11 that he doesn’t think the injury will keep him out Sunday.

Brett Favre was already dealing with elbow and shoulder issues, but apparently now he also has the flu. He was limited in Vikings’ practice on Wednesday but he should play. Receivers Bernard Berrian (groin) and Sidney Rice (hip) were held out of practice, although Rice has a better chance of playing that Berrian does. Rice was held out more for precautionary reasons. The Vikings play at the Redskins on Sunday.

The good news for the Dolphins is that Chad Henne (knee) was able to practice this week and should play against the Raiders. The bad news is that Brandon Marshall (hamstring) won’t play and Miami’s missing about half of its offensive line too. It would take about six days to list all of the Dolphins’ issues on this Week 12 NFL Injury Report, so just know that Miami is one banged up football team.
