Ravens vs. Panthers Free Pick
After losing in Atlanta last Thursday, the Baltimore Ravens look to regroup against a hapless Carolina Panthers team this Sunday. Continue reading for our Week 11 free pick on this game.
According to latest NFL Odds, oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have made the Ravens 10-point favorites over the Panthers in Week 11. The over/under total for this game is currently 37 points.
The Ravens enter Sunday’s game with a 6-3 record but they’re just 4-4-1 against the spread according to latest NFL trends. They’re just 2-3 on the road this year and just 2-2-1 against the spread away from home.
After losing to the Bucs last Sunday, the Panthers fell to 1-8 over this season and are now just 2-7 against the spread. They’re 1-4 at home this season and have failed to cover in four of their five games at Bank of America Stadium.
Our Week 11 NFL Free Pick:
John Fox’s decision to start Brian St. Pierre over rookie Tony Pike in the middle of a youth movement was befuddling to say the least. It’s no wonder why Fox will be looking for another job next year when his contract expires. That said, it’s tough for teams to cover double-digit point spreads when they’re at home – nevertheless on the road, which is where the Ravens will be this Sunday. Baltimore should be well-rested after playing last Thursday night and Joe Flacco should have no problems moving the ball on Carolina’s suspect defense. But call this a hunch – we think the Panthers cover. The Ravens are 0-4 against the spread versus a team with a losing record and if you wait closer to kickoff you may get a great line on Carolina. Our pick is the Panthers minus the points.
