The air attack of the San Diego Chargers meets the powerful defense of the New York Jets in Sunday’s AFC Divisional Playoffs at 4:40PM ET.
The Chargers enter the game as 7-point favorites over the Jets according to online sports book Brobury Sports. The Over/Under for the game has been at 42.
One of the intriguing bets for this game is total sacks for both teams. The over/under is set at 3.5. These two teams have combined for 67 sacks in the 16-game NFL regular season. That is an average of average of 4.18 sacks. With both defenses being able to get to the quarterback, look for more than 3.5 sacks in this game.
Another interesting prop is total touchdowns + interceptions for Mark Sanchez. The over/under has been set at two. Sanchez will have to make some big throws in this game, as the Chargers should be able to score some points with their offense. With the interceptions and touchdown passes combined, it makes the bet even more enticing. We suggest going with the over as Sanchez will have to force some passes, especially late in the game if the Jets are trailing.
