Rams vs. Cardinals Odds

TEMPE, AZ (TheSpread) – The St. Louis Rams are making a push for the NFC West title and they look to continue that push on Sunday when they take on the Arizona Cardinals.

The Rams are 5-6 on the year and 1-4 on the road while Arizona is just 3-8 overall and 2-3 at home. Trends show that St. Louis is just 1-5 against the spread in their last six games against the Cardinals while the under has hit in the last five games between these two teams.

Oddsmakers from online sportsbook SBGGLOBAL have made St. Louis a 3.5-point favorite at home against the Cardinals while the over/under has been set at 43.5. (View Matchup)

Opening odds had the Rams favored by 3 points and the hook has since been added to the spread. The over/under opened at 43 and also has since added the hook.

The Rams are coming off a 36-33 win on the road against Denver, which ended a two-game losing streak. St. Louis is averaging 317.1 yards per game thanks to the solid play from rookie quarterback Sam Bradford. Bradford has thrown for 2,466 yards and 17 touchdowns on the year while running back Steven Jackson has added 883 rushing yards and three scores.

Arizona has lost six straight games including a sad 27-6 performance against San Francisco last weekend which resulted in Derek Anderson having a meltdown with a reporter after the game. Anderson has been a big part of the problem with Arizona as he has thrown for just 1,972 yards and seven touchdowns on the season. Once a prolific offense, Arizona now averages just 269.1 yards per game, including only 78 rushing yards per contest.

In terms of injuries, St. Louis cornerback Jerome Murphy is doubtful for Sunday’s game with a hamstring injury while Arizona linebacker Clark Haggans is questionable with an injured groin.

Over 13,000 public bets have been placed on this game and St. Louis is getting 80% of the wagers at -3.5 against Arizona.
