Rams vs. Cardinals Free Pick

Phoenix, AZ (TheSpread) – Every game is vital for the St. Louis Rams from here on out, as they continue to battle the Seahawks in the NFC West. They’ll have another shot to pick up a victory when they take on a putrid Arizona Cardinals team at 4:15PM ET.

According to NFL Week 13 odds and oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com, the Rams are 3.5-point road favorites over the Cardinals on Sunday. The over/under total for this game is currently 43 points.

The Rams improved to 5-6 after beating the Broncos last Sunday on the road. They’re now 8-3 against the spread according to latest NFL trends and even though they’re 1-4 on the road, they’ve covered in four of those five games.

The Cardinals dropped to 3-8 after a dismal effort against the 49ers on Monday night. They’re now 3-8 against the spread and have failed to cover in four of their five games at University of Phoenix Stadium.

NFL Week 13 Free Pick:

It’s tempting to pick the Rams here with how good Sam Bradford has looked all season, and how bad Derek Anderson and the Cardinals were on Monday night against the 49ers. But St. Louis has struggled against Arizona and it’s always dangerous to lay more than a field goal on the road with a team that hasn’t proven it can win on the road. The Rams are just 1-5 against the number in their last six games against the Cardinals and 2-5 ATS in their last seven meetings in Arizona. Anderson knows that one more game like the one he had on Monday night and he could be a backup for the rest of his career. We think, for at least one week, Anderson will put it together and strike for a couple of big plays to help the Cards earn a victory. Our pick is Arizona +3.5.
