Both of the 2010 AFC Divisional Playoffs matchups feature a strong defense against a strong offense.

The high-powered Indianapolis Colts will look to get best the stingy defense of the Baltimore Ravens while the offensive-minded San Diego Chargers look to defeated the gritty New York Jets this weekend.

Bet 2010 AFC Playoffs

The opening AFC playoff game of the weekend is the Colts and Ravens, who meet on Saturday at 8:15PM ET. The Colts are 6.5-point favorites over the Ravens, according to oddsmakers from online sports book Brobury Sports. The over/under total for this divisional round matchup has been set at 44 points.

Indianapolis
is scoring 26 points per-game, and has the second-best passing attack in the NFL at 282.2 passing yards per-game. The Ravens come in scoring 24.4 points per-game behind the fifth-best rushing attack in the league.

Baltimore
averages 137.5 yards per-game on the ground. Defensively, the Ravens rank third in scoring defense, allowing just 16.3 points per-game. The Colts are giving up 19.2 points per-game and rank in the bottom third of the league in rushing defense, as they allow 126.5 yards per-game on the ground.

Sunday’s AFC matchup features the Chargers and the Jets and kickoff is set for 4:40PM ET.

San Diego
ranks third in the NFL in scoring offense as the Chargers average 28.4 points per-game. Despite the great passing ability of Philip Rivers, the Chargers have the third fewest rushing yards in the league, posting just 88.9 yards per-game on the ground. The Jets have not been an offensive power this year, as they are scoring just 21.8 points per-game. New York does have the top rushing attack in the NFL, as the Jets average 172.3 yards per-game on the ground, but the Jets have the second worst passing attack, posting just 148.8 passing yards per-contest. Defensively, the Jets lead the NFL in total defense, allowing just 14.8 points and 252.3 yards per-game behind their defensive-minded coach, Rex Ryan. The Jets lead the NFL in passing defense as well with 153.7 yards per-game allowed through the air.

San Diego
is giving up 20 points per-game and holding opponents to just 117.6 rushing yards per-game.
