Opening odds had New York favored by 6 points and the spread has since dropped back to 5 points. The over/under total opened at 41 but those odds have since fallen back to 38.5 points.

New York is 7-5 against the point spread odds this year and the Jets have hit the over in 9 of 12 games. The Jets are coming off a 45-3 loss to New England last weekend. That loss ended a four-game winning streak and was one of the worst losses the team has had in quite some time. On the year, New York is averaging 22.3 points per game on offense and allowing just 19.3 points per game on defense. Mark Sanchez has led the team this year with 2,636 passing yards and 16 touchdowns.
