The NFL Preseason begins for two more teams Thursday night as the Baltimore Ravens host the Washington Redskins at M&T Bank Stadium at 7:30PM ET.

Defense should be the name of the game for the Ravens, as

Baltimore retained the services of Ray Lewis and Terrell Suggs this offseason despite losing Bart Scott to the New York Jets.

Baltimore also addressed the offense with the signing of Drew Bennett and Kelly Washington at wide receiver to compliment Derrick Mason, who retired and then un-retired prior to the start of training camp. The receivers should help continue the development of second-year quarterback, Joe Flacco.

The Redskins addressed the defense as well this offseason, signing defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth to a seven-year contract and re-signing cornerback DeAngelo Hall for a six-year deal.

Washington also drafted defensive end Brian Orakpo with the 13^th overall selection to provide pass rush on the outside. Offensively, the Redskins still have questions at quarterback as Jason Campbell is listed as the starter, but on a short leash. Head Coach Jim Zorn says that

Campbell will get snaps tonight, as will Chase Daniel, Colt Brennan, and Todd Collins in hopes to have a healthy competition at quarterback.

Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have made the Ravens 3-point favorites heading into Thursday’s game. The over/under total has also been set at 31.5.

Baltimore is 10-2 with the under as a home favorite of three points or less. The only other game in this series in the last three seasons went under the total.

The Redskins are 1-8 against the spread on Thursdays and are 1-0 ATS versus

Baltimore over the last three seasons.

Washington is also 1-0 straight up against the Ravens over the last three seasons.

Game time is set for 7:30PM ET from M&T Bank Stadium and there’s a 40 percent chance for rain at kickoff. Both teams are expected to play all of their starters in the beginning, but the duration of their play is not likely to be anything past one quarter.
