Stanford vs. Washington Pick
No. 14 Stanford travels to Washington this Saturday to take on a team that it’s taken three of the previous four meetings against. Read on to check out our free pick for this Week 9 college football contest.
Bet Stanford vs. Washington Odds
Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com have made Washington a 7-point underdog against Stanford this Saturday. The over/under total for this game is currently 63 points.
Let’s get to our free pick.
Stanford is 6-1 overall this season but has failed to cover the spread in four of its seven games overall. The Cardinal is 2-1 on the road, however, and has covered in two of its first three games.
The Huskies are 3-4 on the year and have failed to cover in five of their first seven games. They’re 2-2 at home this season but are just 1-3 against the number.
Our Week 9 Pick:
When this game was previewed in preseason, it was billed as a battle between potential No. 1 overall draft picks Andrew Luck and Jake Locker. But while Luck has lived up the hype, Locker has struggled due to injuries and Washington has suffered because of it. The Cardinal is 4-1-1 against the spread in its last six meetings with the Huskies, while the road team is 4-1-1 ATS in the last six meetings. Washington had shown some signs of life over the past couple of weeks, but we think the Huskies will struggle this Saturday against a superior Stanford squad. Our pick is the Cardinal laying the points.
