North Texas Mean Green Game Notes
Austin Aune will enter the 2023 NFL Draft after North Texas’ bowl game against Boise State next Saturday, Brett Vito of the Denton Record-Chronicle reports. Aune completed 215-of-379 passes for 3,309 yards, 32 touchdowns and 13 interceptions in 13 games this season. Aune played in a total of 36 games for North Texas across his four seasons.
Boise State Broncos Game Notes
Taylen Green was 17-for-38 passing for 175 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions during Saturday’s 28-16 loss versus Fresno State. He also had eight rushes for 30 yards. Green threw more interceptions than touchdowns in Saturday’s game against Fresno State, and was unable to lead his team to a Mountain West Conference title. It was his first game of the season throwing more than one interception in a game, it was just the fourth time this season he failed to pass for 200 yards.
