Tyler Savage is expected to miss a few weeks after suffering an injury in camp, Stephen Igoe of 247Sports.com reports. Savage is slated to be ECU’s second tight end this fall. The junior played in four games last season, notching two catches on four targets for 27 yards. Savage is expected to be back at some point during the season, it’s just currently unclear when.

East Carolina vs. Michigan Betting Prediction

Give me the under today at the Big House. Michigan’s running game is going to give East Carolina all sorts of problems and if the Wolverines control the clock for long stretches of time, I don’t see the Pirates scoring enough to get us over the total. The Wolverines were outstanding a season ago at forcing turnovers, so I wouldn’t be shocked to see a few ECU drives end in turnovers, which can be point-killers as well.
