In what arguably is college football’s game of the week, No. 5 Utah will host No. 3 TCU at 3:30PM ET on Sunday. Read on for our free pick for this massive college football Week 10 bout.
Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com have made TCU a 4.5-point road underdog for their Week 10 matchup with Utah. The over/under total for this week’s game is currently 51 points.
The Horned Frogs enter this game a perfect 9-0, although they’ve covered in just five of their first nine games (which isn’t bad given that they’re often big favorites, we suppose). They’re 3-0 on the road this year but have covered in just two of those three games away from home.
The Utes are also perfect this season, racking up an 8-0 record to this point and a stellar 6-1-1 ATS record. They’re 4-0 at home this season and have covered in three of those home games, with one push.
Our Week 10 Pick:
What a great battle this should be. Last year, TCU waxed Utah on its home turf, but two years ago the Utes edged the Horned Frogs 13-10. We think a similar outcome will take place this Saturday as the one in 2008, with it being a tight game that goes down to the wire. While we’re not predicting an outright win for Utah, we do like the Utes to cover. The home team is 4-1 against the number in the last five meetings between these two teams and we think this is a field goal game either way. Our pick is Utah plus the points.
