The team has been led this season by quarterback Ryan Colburn as he has thrown for 2,529 yards and 21 touchdowns with just 9 interceptions.

In terms of injuries, Fresno State defensive back Jermaine Thomas is doubtful with a knee injury while NIU offensive lineman Matt Krempel is questionable with an undisclosed injury.
