National Championship hopes are on the line Saturday when No. 9
Oklahoma
State
host No. 13

Georgia
at 3:30PM ET at Pickens Stadium.

A season opener in 2007 saw the Bulldogs get the best of the Cowboys, 35-14, but now, Georgia seems to be vulnerable to defeated against an Oklahoma State team that has won 13-straight home openers.

Mike Gundy has helped build the Cowboys into a national championship contender over his four seasons as head coach. Gundy had gotten improved results each year, with last season’s 9-4 finish being the best since 2003.

Oklahoma
State
brings back seven starters on offense, led by the trio of quarterback Zac Robinson, running back Kendall Hunter, and receiver Dez Bryant. Robinson threw for 3,064 yards and 25 touchdowns in 2008, most of which went to Bryant, who had 87 receptions for 1,480 yards and 19 touchdowns. Bryant was a First Team All-American in 2008. Hunter, who was also an All-American, rushed for 1,555 yards and 16 touchdowns last season.

Oklahoma
State
will look to improve on its defense in order to succeed in 2009, as their defensive unit allowed 28.1 points per-game last season.

Georgia
has a lot of questions to answer after losing quarterback Matthew Stafford and running back Knowshon Moreno. Joe Cox will get the call at QB as he enters his fifth-year with the program. Cox has seen little time on the field for the Bulldogs, throwing for just 432 yards in his career. Sophomore Richard Samuel will get the load at running back for

Georgia
after averaging 5.1 yards per-carry last season. The Bulldogs do return eight starters on defense, led by three All-SEC selections, including defensive tackle Geno Atkins and linebacker Rennie Curran.

Oddsmakers from online sports book SPORTSBOOK.com have made
Oklahoma
State 5.5-point home favorites over

Georgia
on Saturday afternoon. The over/under total for this game has been established at 61.
