West Virginia Mountaineers DFS Spin

Tre Mitchell registered 16 points (5-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 13 rebounds and two assists across 41 minutes during Saturday’s 82-76 OT loss to Kansas State. Mitchell notched his first double-double of the season while also leading the Mountaineers in field-goal attempts ahead of Tre Mitchell, Erik Stevenson and Kedrian Johnson, who all put up 10 shots from the field. The Texas transfer Mitchell has emerged as West Virginia’s most all-around productive player with 13.1 points and a team-high 5.3 rebounds per game. He’s also put up double-digit points in all but three of his eleven starts. Mitchell should continue serving as a key contributor to the Mountaineers’ balanced scoring attack as the schedule gets harder heading into Big 12 play.

Oklahoma State Cowboys DFS Spin

John-Michael Wright recorded 19 points (6-15 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one steal over 33 minutes during Saturday’s 69-67 loss to Kansas. Wright logged a season in points during this impressive first-half performance for the Cowboys. However, the 6-foot-1 senior wavered down the stretch, going 2-of-8 from the field in the second half. Wright once again struggled with his overall efficiency, as he’s now shot 39.4 percent from the field compared to a solid 36.4 percent on his 5.1 three-point attempts per game. Expect Wright to continue serving as one of Oklahoma State’s top three-point shooters alongside Bryce Thompson moving forward into conference play.
