Virginia Cavaliers DFS Spin
Isaac McKneely ended Friday’s 89-42 win over Monmouth with 15 points (5-8 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 1-3 FT), two rebounds and one assist in 28 minutes. McKneely didn’t look good in the season opener and barely made an impact, but he enjoyed a big run of minutes here in a blowout and didn’t waste the chance to impress the coaching staff. That said, McKneely is expected to keep coming off the bench in the coming games, and that should limit his upside going forward.
Baylor Bears DFS Spin
Adam Flagler contributed 13 points (5-10 FG, 3-7 3Pt), two rebounds, 10 assists and three steals in 26 minutes during Monday’s 95-62 victory over Northern Colorado. Flagler logged yet another do-it-all performance despite putting up a season low in attempts Monday. While the senior point guard made his biggest impact with a team-high 10 assists, he also remained highly efficient, turning the ball over just once and shooting over 50 percent from the floor for the third time in as many contests this season. Flagler averaged only three assists over 31 games last year, though he appears primed to play more of a floor-general role during his second season as a full-time starter in 2022-23.
