Derek Simpson is part of Rutgers’ starting lineup Thursday against Michigan, according to Brian Fonseca of The Star-Ledger. Across his three games started, Simpson averaged 8.7 points and 3.0 rebounds. He will serve as a lineup replacement for Aundre Hyatt on Thursday.

It’s worth tracking if he can do this consistently in March, as he’s scored in double-figures for a maximum of just three straight games over two different stretches.
