In a week that saw many of the top teams fall, the Sooners survived and moved up to the top spot while North Carolina came in at No. 2 and Kansas moved to No. 3. Oklahoma is a unanimous No. 1 team for the first time since the 1989-90 season.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Oklahoma is currently listed with 10/1 odds to win the NCAA Tournament this season. They have the fifth-shortest odds as Kansas and UNC are co-favorites at 7/1 while Duke and Michigan State each have 9/1 odds.
Since a 109-106 OT loss at Kansas a few weeks ago, the Sooners have rolled off three straight wins in the Big 12, including a 70-68 win over West Virginia. Oklahoma faces No. 19 Iowa State on the road tonight, which could be a tough challenge. They also travel to Baylor this weekend for a date with the 13th-ranked Bears.
