Michigan State Spartans DFS Spin
Jaden Akins produced 12 points (4-8 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound and one steal in 20 minutes during Tuesday’s 69-65 victory over Wisconsin. Akins hasn’t offered great production but he’s at least scored in double-figures in three of the last five games. If he can limit the four turnovers he committed Tuesday, then Akins could show more improvement.

Terrence Shannon logged 25 points (10-17 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 3-5 FT), 11 rebounds, four assists and four steals across 35 minutes during the Fighting Illini’s 76-50 win Tuesday at Nebraska. Shannon scored more than 20 points across three of five games the 2022-23 Fighting Illini played in between Dec. 21 and Jan. 11. They continued their conference schedule during that span. But at least until March, Shannon is expected to be the Illini’s best player when available.
