Colonial Tournament Odds
RICHMOND, VA (TheSpread) – The 2011 Colonial Conference Tournament begins on Friday and features some of the best mid-major teams in the nation.

The tournament features 12 teams and takes place over the next four days. It is single elimination with the top four seeds getting a bye. The tournament will take place from the Richmond Coliseum.
George Mason enters the tournament as the favorite according to oddsmakers from online sportsbook Sportsbook.com as they have 1/1 odds to win. Other short odds to win are Old Dominion (2/1) and VCU (11/2).
George Mason won the regular season title with a 16-2 Colonia record and a 25-5 overall record. George Mason last won the tournament in 2008 and it has won four titles in program history.
Old Dominion finished tied for second in the conference and will be the No. 2 seed as it went 14-4 in conference play and 24-6 overall. ODU has five tournament titles in its history, including the 2010 championship.
VCU actually finished fourth in the conference at 12-6 and went 21-10 overall. Virginia Commonwealth has four titles in program history, the last coming in 2009.
