Atlantic 10 Tourny Odds
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (TheSpread) – The 2011 Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament has its opening round take place on Tuesday with the eventual championship taking place on Sunday.

The A-10 Tournament has four first round games, featuring the bottom eight seeds, taking place at the campus sites of the better seeds. The four winners join the top four seeds in the quarterfinals at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City where a standard 8-team tournament takes place over the next three days.
Temple enters the tournament as the favorite according to oddsmakers from online sportsbook SBGGLOBAL.com as they have 6/5 odds despite being the No. 2 seed. Other short odds to win are top-seeded Xavier (5/4) and Richmond (7/2).
Temple went 14-2 in conference play and was 24-6 overall to earn the second seed. Temple has won this tournament nine times, most of any team. The Owls are also the defending tournament champions.
Xavier went 15-1 in conference play and also was 24-6 overall this season. Xavier last won the tournament in 2006, and it has four titles in program history.
Richmond has the third seed in this week’s tournament as it went 13-3 in conference play and 24-7 overall. Richmond has never won the tournament, but did finish runner-up twice, including in 2010.
