Summers averages 10.9 points on the season but the junior guard had led Michigan State since Lucas went down with an Achilles injury. Summers had 26 points in the win over Maryland and followed it up with 19 points in the win over Northern Iowa. Lucas shot 71 percent from the field against the Terps and 46 percent against the Panthers.
